Auwalu Giade Mohammed – Director, Magnet Academy

Auwalu Giade Mohammed was born in Giade, where he attended Giade Junior and Senior Primary Schools. He continued his education at Government Arabic Teachers College, Gombe, earning a Grade II Certificate. Auwalu pursued further studies at Kaduna Polytechnic, obtaining both an Ordinary Diploma and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing. He later earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration from Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from the National Open University of Nigeria.

Auwalu began his career as a primary school teacher before serving in Ondo State during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, where he worked with the Okitipupa Local Government Area. He briefly worked with Trumpeter Newspaper before joining the Nigeria Customs Service, where he served in various capacities and locations. Auwalu retired honorably as an Assistant Controller of Customs upon reaching the mandatory age of service.

In September 2024, Auwalu was appointed as the Director of Magnet Academy at Alhuda, under Islamic Ummah Relief. His leadership is rooted in a lifelong dedication to education and community development, reflecting his commitment to empowering underserved communities.
